Well today I found out something interesting as I do everyday, Google and Book seller Barnes & Noble entered a unique partnership to fight Amazon due to the fact that they are struggling moving units in these skreetz and Amazon seems to have the books the feigns need(lol) not to much is known of the terms of the deal but let's just hope no beef comes of this and no book covers are shed in the streets......

Today Google again open it's ever so full wallet and flexed it's muscle and acquired a satellite company by the name of SkyBox Imaging. What was the price u ask? Oh well just a measly 500 M dollars nothing to serious just a drop in the water bucket.

What exactly is SkyBox and why did Google feel the need to acquire them? Well this comes back to the post I made recently on how Google was planning on launching satellites into orbit to bring internet to everyone. SkyBox has satellites and Google basically bought them to get those satellites and help beef up it's data as well so basically with this purchase Google killed 2 birds with one stone

Expect a few more purchases this year from Google as they try and get there hands in damn near every aspect of life.....

Yes I know this rumor again but it's seems like Sprint is hell bent in merging it's company with T-Mobile to make the worlds largest crappy carrier.

Reports are saying that Sprint has takin it's horse and pony show to several banks to secure the financial stability to make a pitch to acquire T-Mobile. The reports state that as soon as June Sprint could make it's official bid for it's rival. Let's just hope the FCC laughs in their faces and kindly tells Sprint to dream on.

I really hope they don't allow it though we've seen Sprint take Nextel and completely ruin it and even with 20 billion in cash from the SoftBank purchase the network isn't getting any better. I do however think T-Mobile needs a new parent company with deep pockets.......

We all know Apple is trying to rid iOS of any thing even related to it's competitor Google, so that's what Yahoo is for. 

According to Re/Code Yahoo is readying a pitch to throw at Apple on it's take on it version of everything and where it plans to take it brand in the future and also apart of that pitch is to allow Yahoo to be it's default search for iOS.

If your familiar with iOS as most are currently Google as of now is the default search engine and you can change it to either Bing or Yahoo. Yahoo I can see my please for god sake get rid of Bing it's awful and looks even worse, but anyways stay tuned for updates and see if Apple goes with Yahoo for iOS 8......

We all know it's a boom in the health industry and it's the newest craze but instead of just creating apps and wearables the Canadian company known as Blackberry is taking it to another level. 

BlackBerry is not only prepping a new device for enterprise buts it's investing as well which could be major for the struggling company. Recently news was announced that BB took a stake in a health care start up based out of California by the name of NantHealth.

While company's like Apple and Samsung are investing in apps and wearbles and gimmicky things BB is doing it that right way and for once in a long time its ahead of it's competition. My opinion is this gives BB a inside look at and the ability to develop tools and such specifically catered to the market instead of add ons and stand alone apps. Maybe we could expect a tablet in the works as well and of course a few phones here and there as well. 

Hopefully this move brings some major W's for BB and they can return to a dominant player in tech like they were a few years ago........

Some interesting news according to Re/Code Apple and Google are both interested in acquiring the mobile payment service company Square Inc. Both companies are looking to boost the usage of mobile payment and the acquisition of square they feel would help do so.

I'm not sure why Google would want Square when they have their own in house mobile payment system Google Wallet. Apple makes sense since they don't currently have a system they have passbook which probably is what square would turn into. Also I'm sure most people use square with a iPhone or iPad 

But then again this whole acquisition of companies thing by larger corporations sometimes doesn't work or they try to change the model of the business fire a shit load of people instead of just making it a subsidiary. Either way let's hope who ever purchases Square its the correct fit, but for now Square is still independent an  thriving none the less......
