Today Google again open it's ever so full wallet and flexed it's muscle and acquired a satellite company by the name of SkyBox Imaging. What was the price u ask? Oh well just a measly 500 M dollars nothing to serious just a drop in the water bucket.

What exactly is SkyBox and why did Google feel the need to acquire them? Well this comes back to the post I made recently on how Google was planning on launching satellites into orbit to bring internet to everyone. SkyBox has satellites and Google basically bought them to get those satellites and help beef up it's data as well so basically with this purchase Google killed 2 birds with one stone

Expect a few more purchases this year from Google as they try and get there hands in damn near every aspect of life.....
