Closing out the month of April ( and the KD IX in general ) here's on of the last KD releases for the month, the KD IX Elite " Multi Color " is on a long list of lackluster KD IX releases for 2017. The sneaker in general was a huge disappoint ( KD's first official season on the Warriors ) but also shows Nike has lost its mojo via the basketball world. Boost has come along and challenged Nike, time and time again we see companies at the top get comfy an when real competition occurs they re act horribly to it.

Nike Basketball in general has been sub par this year ( except the PG 1 ) so either expect some major changes for the next go round of signature sneakers, or just the same ol same ol ( hmmmmmm ) the Multi Color KD IX Elite is releasing on the 28th for the retail of 150$, i would sit on these as once the summer comes the IX will go on heavy discount............

The KD IX is re enrolling into school with this upcoming release, paying homage to KD's school of choice in college ( and i staple color way in the KD series ) the Texas KD IX stays true to its roots. Set to release on March 10th for the retail price of 150$ this is a clean, and simple color as it should be.............

Nike Kept it simple for the KD IX in there BHM pack, but one thing i would fix is the KD logo and Nike check should have been Gold, so if your going to cop these i would customize em just to give them a lil twist.......................

This Years Aunt Pearl KD Shows Nike's Laziness or Lack of Creation?

Lets just keep it real is Nike doing it for the Love or for the Money?

Ever since the hype around sneaker color ways came around an the stories made up for them Nike brought a new twist to sneakers, i mean in the past color ways would release but starting around 2013 Nike really stepped it up with the colors, story telling, and designs. But here we are today on this years Aunt Pearl a sneaker with a lot of significance for KD and Nike gives us this????

Its just a small sign of when a company ( not only Nike but Apple as well and Blackberry at one point ) stops innovating, stops pushing the envelope, and just starts doing whatever they can to turn a profit. Its actually sad to see coming from one of the worlds largest sports brands to see Nike essentially give up what they started, over charge their sneakers ( the KD price increase was drastic ) to now just throwing out a sneaker to grab cash just based off the sneaker or color ways history ( search KD Aunt Pearl drops of the past )

But honestly the blame is 100% on the consumer, buying this BS again again and again AND AGAIN especially from the terrible quality Jordan Brand retro's ( thats another story ) in the words of a man named taxstone I SAY THAT TO SAY THIS stop putting up with mediocracy, and start juicing in the morning beloved.................

I have no clue who the artist is ( Patso ) but i saw this on Sneaker News an had to share this with you guys ( and girls ) Dimitrov took inspiration from some of the hottest albums released and executed on Today's most hottest signature sneakers, which he did a hell of a job on. The artist who were used are David Bowie, J Cole, Kanye West, The Weekend, A Tribe Called Quest, and Chance the Rapper, all of these artist albums were mashed up with athletes like Lebron, James Harden, and Steph Curry ( to just name a few ) on signature sneaker models like the Curry III, Harden Vol 1, Kyrie III, Kobe AD, KD IX, and the Lebron XIV.

This by far is the best Music x Sneakers art mash up i've ever seen an hopefully Patso and the respective companies make this happen, it would even be cooler if they went the DB route and each shoe represented a charity, which means part of the proceeds would go to each one. With that being said peep the pics down below an feel free to leave a comment with which one you would buy ( or pay resell for ) if these actually dropped...............
