Lets just keep it real is Nike doing it for the Love or for the Money?
Ever since the hype around sneaker color ways came around an the stories made up for them Nike brought a new twist to sneakers, i mean in the past color ways would release but starting around 2013 Nike really stepped it up with the colors, story telling, and designs. But here we are today on this years Aunt Pearl a sneaker with a lot of significance for KD and Nike gives us this????
Its just a small sign of when a company ( not only Nike but Apple as well and Blackberry at one point ) stops innovating, stops pushing the envelope, and just starts doing whatever they can to turn a profit. Its actually sad to see coming from one of the worlds largest sports brands to see Nike essentially give up what they started, over charge their sneakers ( the KD price increase was drastic ) to now just throwing out a sneaker to grab cash just based off the sneaker or color ways history ( search KD Aunt Pearl drops of the past )
But honestly the blame is 100% on the consumer, buying this BS again again and again AND AGAIN especially from the terrible quality Jordan Brand retro's ( thats another story ) in the words of a man named taxstone I SAY THAT TO SAY THIS stop putting up with mediocracy, and start juicing in the morning beloved.................
