Philips Google TV
4/25/2014 06:05:00 PMAs if you don't have enough Google in your life here's even more Google, Philips is set to launch a SmartTv running Android software.
The Philips DroidTV will be running a Android based OS giving it the ability to run Google Play apps and games. It will also come pre installed with apps and such optimized for the large screen size.
The tv will offer services like Google's Voice Search which by simply speaking to your tv let's you access online content. Philips also plans to add it's own app called MyRemote that would basically turn your handset into a remote. They also are planning to add gesture controls.
The Philips DroidTV is going to have a Quad Core Processor and they will be announcing a 4K version later on sometime. All this news is pretty dope and expect the dev community to set up hacks to take full advantage of android and turn your tv into a damn beast a computer/phone/tv/videogame system hybrid all in one.......
