Google Button ✔️?

According to Android Police the Google Button maybe coming in the next version of Android. What is Google Button well basically it's a dedicated button that launches voice control and Google Now.

The feature however maybe only available on Nexus and GPE edition phones. It's sounds like a cool idea and pretty useful, do you think Google will implement his feature? Or is this just a rumor?
