A few days ago I made a post about how at this years MWC Google had plans to be come a MVNO, well that's still true but like in true Google fashion there's always a catch. Reports say that Google will be using a combo of T-Mobile and Sprints's service for their own MVNO service but the catch is it only will work with the Google Nexus 6, that's right it works for this years nexus only. This leads me to believe that Google will make this more like a carrier to service for their own built phones and maybe even tablets, instead of what a typical mobile carrier provider does. So what do you think of this news? Let me know how you feel in the comments below......
Anyone reading have a nexus device? Well then be on the look out cause soon Google will be releasing Android 5.1 Lollipop but again this is for now strictly for nexus for device
I know it's a lil early in the tech game concerning Google/Android/Nexus, but let's just go on ahead and share this info to the people. The info comes via GizmoChina the search giant Google has plans to make two Nexus devices firstly their will be a device made by Huawei aimed supposedly at the low end spectrum and last but not least good ol LG. The report states LG(Nexus 4/5) will be tapped again to make a high end device( more then likely a updated nexus 5) I feel like Google should have did this last year and they have learned(if it's broke then don't fix it) so what do you think of this news? Let me know in the comments......
Rumors have been swirling about Googls stopping the Nexus program and starting something called Android Silver, along with that it wasn't sure if a new tablet was coming. Well the Nexus program in fact is being kept and some news today states that a HTC built Nexus Tablet is on it's way.
Dubbed the HTC Volantis this HTC designed Nexus tab would take ques from this years M8 phone and along with that here are the specs these aren't for sure but they sound extremely interesting
HTC Volantis Nexus Tablet Specs:
8.9 Inch Display (2560 x 1600)
64 Bit Tegra K1 Processor (2.3 Ghz)
64GB of Storage
5GB of Ram
8 MegaPixel Camera
And BoomSound Speakers
Expect it to be running Android L if released after it's officially is announced
Yes that's right it's coming to an end and I am sad. Epic tech leaker EvLeaks via it's twitter page has said that Google will not only be scraping the nexus phone line but not to expect a nexus 6 this year.
They also state that the replacement for the Nexus line AndroidSilver won't launch until February of 2015 and that it has info that one the first AS devices will be a LG handset for sprint.
Are you sad about this news? Looks like I'll pick up two nexus 5's this summer and a nexus 7 in remembrance........
Boy do these companies have weird ways of naming things anyways if your wondering what the heck is flounder and what does it have to do with Google's Nexus line then I will explain.
If you know tech then you know companies often give products code names while they are testing them and apparently Google likes to name their tablets after fish(I'm not kidding you) So the flounder is a code name and it just might give a hint to what's coming up next.
Even though Google initially stated that they are getting rid of the nexus line(for what will be called AndroidSilver) they still have a phone and tablet left to give the world. Rumors have been buzzing about a new nexus tablet and the fact that it may be in the form of a 8' slab instead of a 7 or 10 inch(8 is perfect middle ground by the way)
Now even thought this could be a tablet maybe it could be the nexus 6 you never know with Google now a days but whatever it is Google I/O is next month so let's hold out horse til then and not make any assumptions.......
It's only April so don't expect a crap load of Nexus rumors but today we have one and it's about the processor or processors I should say.
Like Apple Google is headed towards the 64 bit chip path for it's next nexus device(made by HTC) the next nexus will feature two MediaTek Processors a quad core MT6732 64 bit chip which will be clocked at 1.5 ghz, and the octa core MT6752 which will be clocked at 2.0 ghz.
This means the next nexus could see a bump in ram last years nexus 5 had 2 GV of ram so maybe we could be seeing 3 maybe even 4gb of ram for this years.
Like always stay tune for more nexus 6 news when ever it becomes readily available I will be posting it up......
