In this day and age sports is seen as a macho, muscle, man driven thing while women's is some what shunned and their respective sports are not as well appreciated. Today that changes like the classy coach and organization they are the 2014 NBA Champs(and Coach Pop) have announced the hiring of WNBA Retiree(after this season) Becky Hammon. 

A hiring like this is a long time coming and I myself a lover of the game of basketball am excited on this news because it changes the dynamics of the sport and opens the door to more women getting jobs in the NBA. Congrats to Becky and respect to the San Antonio Spurs for being the first to take the leap....now how long will it take til we see a female  Head Coach, GM/President, or Owner........
