12' MacBook Air Retina??

Some interesting news I just read apparently Apple maybe cooking up a new MacBook Air(rumors for now)
The new MacBook Air would feature a 12' screen putting it in between the 11 and 13 inch MacBook's, along with the screen it supposedly will finally get a retina display(thank god) also the new air will not have a fan and will have a new type of trackpad feature.
Again this is just a rumor but if true I'm sure it will sell like hot cakes. If true would u pick a new air up? Or just stick with the current models or do you prefer the much more expensive big brother the MacBook Pro Retina?
